Dr. Sunil Patil being the first Pediatric Intensivist of the region led the establishment of Tertiary Pediatric Intensive Care and Neonatology units in Bagalkot. He is instrumental in accreditation of DNB and Fellowship courses in Shanti Hospital. After completing his MD (PediatricS), he did his fellowship at Sir Gangaram Hospital Pediatric Critical Care Unit, New Delhi. He is certified by Critical Care group of Indian Academy of Pediatrics and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Post MD Pediatrics has completed Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care and Perinatal Medicine, he has been part of the Pediatric Team in Shanti Hospital for more than 7years.

Dr. Pradeep Jadar, working as Pediatric intensivist, Shanti Hospital Bagalkot. He completed diploma in child health (DCH) from MVJ medical College and research Centre, Bengaluru. He completed secondary DNB at Shanti Hospital Bagalkot. He worked in Dist Hospital as a Pediatric COVID incharge .He did fellowship in PICU (IDPCCM) at Aster CMI Hospital, Bengaluru. His is expertise in Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care and Pediatric Trauma. His experience in paediatrics is above six years.
